Kano City!

Kano is the largest city in Northern Nigeria. An ancient Emirate, Kano was the terminus of the trans-Sahara route. We moved to Kano in 1984, and stayed there until 1992. Truly, the years in Kano were the best Haque years in Nigeria. The family was still all together. Asim, Atif and Nausheen all got their early education in Kano. Kano was a city with an active Pakistani expatriate community, and the Haque clan spent several of their weekends attending and throwing lavish parties, and participating in community events.
